Those of you who follow me on Twitter, know that I have a lot of love for a sculpture called Book of Life by artist David Kracov. Born in Boston, Krakov's career in art began after being featured as one of the youngest artists ever to showcase in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, at the tender age of just 12.

Having studied at Rhode Island School of Design, Kracov went on to work with Disney Animation, Don Bluth Animation and Rich Animation. Working on features such as The Lion King and Aladdin amongst other well-loved classics.
His creativity over time led him from illustration to sculpture and he began to experiment with clay and metals. He starts off every metal sculpture with hundreds of small sketches, which are then hand-cut from a single sheet of steel, each piece meticulously hand painted, breathing life into each and every sculpture.
