Wow 1st of October where has the year gone? Before you know it we'll be shouting "happy new year" but not before a few important celebrations. Of course before the year is out we have the obvious festive celebration, Christmas (which by the way for all you Grinch's out there, only 84 days to go).
But before all those jolly Ho Ho Ho's, we do have a couple of inherited celebrations that we have adopted over the years and I have no doubt you'll be celebrating at least one. Everyone loves Halloween on the 31st October, where the night is spent trick or treating and basically giving you a free pass to eat lots of chocolate. Scary costumes not your thing? Maybe you're more about Day of the Dead on the 2nd of November? A colourful Mexican holiday where everything takes the form of skulls and skeletons.
Regardless of what you're celebrating this Autumn, it is sad how much money can be spent on one-off pieces that we'll either never wear or use again or weren't meant to last longer than one night.
But we all love a good excuse for a party so below I have pulled out a small selection of alternative gift ideas from our Autumn collection inspired by Halloween and Day of the Dead. They are all design-led meaning that you'll want to keep on using them long after the celebrations have ended.
Our collection of ethically made Halloween inspired gift ideas encourage slow living in a mass produced fast fashion world. So don't bin them or store them away after the main event, instead keep using them and enjoy every moment of your purchase.
