Creative Spotlight: Trina Merry Camouflage Body Art Illustrations

Trina Merry is a talented bodypainting artist based in San Francisco. Merry creates unique body art which has been featured in major media publications such as Time magazine and The NY Times amongst others.

Merry's mind-blowing city camouflage is a particular favourite of mine. Trina Merry has spent many hours intricately painting and blending semi naked models into iconic scenery and world famous landmarks, creating stunning illusions.

I wanted to engage the city and understand it and make some observations... So instead of a person right in front of the Empire State building or the Statue of Liberty, they’re softly in the background, and you’ve got more of a reflective view of the person within the landscape (Trina Merry's interview with Time Magazine)
