And it started with a beer…..

It’s been a crazy old year so far and it’s only April (!). I can’t believe it was only a couple of months ago Michael and I escaped the snow with a pint of beer at our local to mull over our future. As we’re 34 this year we decided it was time to take the bull by the horns and not just talk about the possibility of starting up this business but actually putting a business plan together.

Living in East London it’s been a great hub for creativity and design. From the street art and the great markets to the fearlessness of people’s individual style and their willingness to be different, it has given us a lot of inspiration.

We are aware however that East London is just a snapshot of creativity that exists in the UK. Our aim with The Lost Lanes is to find, who we think are the very best small independent designers. We want to bring you designers with a passion for what they do and unique style.

We’re incredibly excited about the launch of the new website coming very soon and the amazing supportive designers that we have already discovered, not to mention those we’re still waiting to find.
